In 2019, I survived a horrific motorcycle accident that left me with pelvic fractures, shattered feet, a compound leg fracture, and torn ACL/MCL/PCL in my knee on top of upper extremity fractures. After 33 days in the hospital, doctors told me I likely wouldn’t walk for at least a year. But then they referred me to Justin Ott. From the moment we started, Justin matched my determination with his expertise and heart. I tried to come in nonchalant, but I was firmly asked, "Are we here to play or work?" I knew I was in the right place immediately. 30 days later, I met my goal and walked my son into preschool.

Today, I’m running, playing with my kids and living a life I wasn’t sure I’d ever get back. Justin didn’t just help me heal – he believed in me, pushed me beyond my limits, and turned my vision into reality. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and delivers life-changing results, Justin is the one. My family and I will be forever grateful for him and his skills.

After undergoing a bilateral femur osteotomy; a complex and life-changing procedure, I knew the road to recovery would be long and challenging. What I didn’t anticipate was how profoundly my physical therapist; Justin, would impact that journey.

From day one, Justin Ott brought not only expert knowledge and clinical skill, but also an extraordinary level of compassion, patience, and encouragement. He tailored every session to my evolving needs, constantly adapting techniques to match my progress while pushing me just enough to achieve the best results. Justin’s attention to detail, commitment to proper form, and deep understanding of post-surgical rehabilitation made all the difference.

There were moments when I felt overwhelmed and discouraged, but Justin’s steady support and belief in my potential helped me regain both strength and confidence. Thanks to his guidance, I now move with freedom and ease I wasn’t sure I’d ever have again. I am deeply grateful for Justin’s role in my recovery, and I can’t recommend him highly enough to anyone facing a difficult rehabilitation journey. Justin’s work goes beyond therapy—it’s truly life-restoring.

Justin Ott was my PT for my knee and shoulder, and he was excellent. From the initial evaluation to his plan of execution, I knew I had made the right decision for physical therapy. His clinical knowledge and experience along with a caring and patient attitude are what I would expect from a professional in his field. Every exercise and the role it played in my rehab was fully explained as well as the mechanics of the knee and shoulder. I would highly recommend Justin Ott, DPT for physical therapy.

I am a former patient of Justin Ott from New Jersey. Probably one of the saddest days was when he told me that he was leaving. I knew that he wanted more than what he was being offered. Justin is a leader, not a follower and wanted more for his patients than what he was permitted to offer them. He is a bright, intelligent young man that has so much to offer. I don't know of many individuals in his position that go out of their way to follow up with former patients to see how they are doing, and this is just one side of Justin.

When he was at the clinic, I met him at, everyone there respected his decisions with other patients, he was looked up to for who he was and what he offered. I still go to that clinic but the only thing missing is Justin Ott. How many individuals keep in contact with former patients, not that many, I'm sure, Justin Ott does.

Justin Ott was the best physical therapist I have ever had. I came to Justin after being diagnosed with vertigo and Parkinson’s Disease (PD). He didn’t just treat my vertigo and PD with the standard forms of treatment. He treated not only my symptoms but me as a person (my physical and mental health). He listened to my concerns, he treated every ache and pain, he made going to physical therapy fun. He thought out of the box. Exercises such as dodge ball and boxing for my motor skills and balance. When I had terrible headaches/vertigo episodes he took his time and helped me focus on breathing and relaxing. Some therapists take on too many patients, focusing on getting you in and out, trying to stay within the hour timeline. Justin went above and beyond. While I’ve had some very good therapists after him, none have come close to the physical therapy I received with him. If he hadn’t moved away, I would still be with him.

I had been dealing with lateral knee pain for over a year that emerged from marathon training. I was barely able to run a half mile without my pain flaring up and inhibiting me from continuing on my run. Being a competitive runner most of my life this major setback was disheartening. I had tried cross training and taking time off from running, however my knee pain persisted. I was recommended to Justin as I was told he is an experienced PT and attentive to details. I saw Justin for 1-2 times a week for about 4 months of therapy and I am now able to run 30 miles a week. He focused on changing my running mechanics, strengthening weak muscles and stabilizing old injuries that played into my knee pain. Justin thinks out of the box with his exercises, is very attentive to details, and wants to see his patients meet their goals. He provided me with the tools that I can use on my own to continue building strength and running endurance and has given me the hope that I will be able to race again soon!
